Hope I run into a couple of those today. I'm taking a few teenage boys out to look over the area. Our forecast is rain for the next week and beyond. Oh, well, we hunt when we hunt.

Mechanical issues with my wheeler took us home early, it was a good week but nothing for the freezer.

Had four teenage boys with me today. We saw one bear pop into the bush, but didn't really get a crack at game. The boys passed on a couple of mule deer. However, I had to drive home when I managed to ruin a power steering pump (blew a hose and lost all my fluid while in the bush--OUCH!).

My buddies wife got a nice little meat bull today. Her first big game animal. Shot with a sporterized Mauser in 7x57.

Some of the finest meat one could possibly serve will come from that young bull. Congratulations to the young woman--she has done very well. The 7X57 is an excellent round for moose, without question.
