Nice Job Chet. In 2000 I shot a nice moose in Maine. It took two 180 Grain Partitions out of a 30.06 at 165 yards to convince him he was mine. You are going to have a lot of fine eating. Actually a large number of people in my town got the opportunity to try either moose burgers or moose steak. In what state did you take him?

chet,

Nice Bull!
Where did you take your bull and how wide is his rack?
I have 5 preference points for WY.

Sorry about the price of your wyoming points going up, but it sounds like you and I are in too deep to give up now! Good luck!

Yea, story of my life. Day late and a dollar short! :(

Beautiful Bull! Congratulations.

Congrats on a beautifull bull! Did you happen to check the bullet for retained weight and expanded diameter? What kind of moose is it and what does a bull like that weigh? I'm still waiting for my chance at one.
GOOD HUNTING

Well Greg... there's only one kind of moose that roams the woods in Utah, Alces alces shirasi.... aka shiras or wyoming moose
I will weigh and measure the bullet tonight and get back to ya tomorrow.
About hi weight??? all I can say is BIG ENOUGH! I'd guess about 1200lbs

having troubles with the "macro" setting on camera, pics didnt turn out.
measures .550" and 122.0 grains
