Well only got to go out hunting one day at the end of the season. I started feeling better after fighting cancer since the beginning of june. Cancer is in remission and a friend took me out Halloween day. When I saw this big body 3x3 I wasnt going to pass. One shot with my Rem 760 35 Whelen w/ my load of Blc2 and rem 200 grn rn bullet. This is the first year I wasnt able to do alot of shooting all summer long or sight the whelen in, but it did its job and shot straight.

Congratulations on that buck.

That is a nice one! How did the bullet perform for you....besides the obvious!

That is a superb, big bodied buck. Great job! It is good to hear that the cancer appears to be in remission.

I use the rem 200 grn rn for deer and is the 13th buck i've killed with that load, never needed a second shot. I use nosler 250 part for bear and elk.

Man the Whelen is taking a lot of game this fall, congrats on the deer and great news that the cancer is in remission.

Outstanding!

Great buck - and doggone - I'm glad you're feeling better. Well enough to hunt! That's pretty doggone cool.

All the best, Guy

I am glad that your cancer is in remission and that you are able to hunt again. That is great!

Congratulations on your recovery, and the deer. We will be looking for more pictures
