My 340---Last bee

Thanks to Bob Hagel the 340 Wby is one of only 2 Weatherby rounds that I have ever wanted (270 Wby is the other) he certainly was quite enamored with it. A 210 gr PT at around 3200 fps would be one of the classic loads in it. I would say it is one of the most sensible Weatherby rounds.

I used the old load from that Weatherby sheet for the 225 gr Partition with 88.0 gr of IMR 7828 SSC at 3060 fps (chrono'ed). I got 1.5 inch groups at 200 yards and the 225 gr PT still is flying at over 2100 fps at 500 yards!
