And I have to say she is much cuter than my other hunting partners  My wife took our hunter training course, 21 hours and 2 weeks later she did well and passed both the written and practical exams  I'm very proud of her and looking forward to more time in the field with her. She is wearing her wool camo pants we bought from Cabelas last summer for the photo, not too many years ago she was definitely a city girl but she ended up marrying me for some reason.... :) She loves camping a lot and is getting pretty good at fishing too.

Congratulations to your lovely wife :)!! Gerhard you are a very lucky man to have such a beautiful hunting partner.
Now hopefully this spring she will connect on a black bear and then look out this fall !

Blessings,
Dan

That is great news, Gerry. What a great partner to share your hunts.

Yes, it is an amazing blessing to be able to have a wife like her. I'm very thankful for her.

Should you come over this way, my wife and I will be pleased to open our home to you. Consequently, I do have a few good areas with decent moose populations for early hunts.

Nice! My wife loves hunting and has taken a lot of Deer and a Moose. It's quite a thrill to watch how excited she gets when she puts an animal down. Have fun!

Congratulations to both and wishing many Happy years together in the future.

Great Job, Gerry you couldn't ask for more. I made my wife my best friend and hunting/fishing partner right after we were married 45yrs ago and it was been a fantastic life every since. There's nothing like sharing your hunting and fishing experiences with the one you love.

Congratulations! When I was young my bride and I really enjoyed shooting, hunting, and fishing together. Being able to share these experiences will truly enhance your relationship. Of course, you run the risk of her "showing you up". :? But, that just makes it all the more special.

She told me she wants to do a lot of shooting this year and I will need to keep her supplied with a lot of ammo  After we do a bit of work primarily with the 22 lr then we will load up a bunch of Trail Boss loads to get her used to her Tikka T 3 6.5x55, later in the summer we will work with some full power loads. She did some shooting a few years ago and did quite well so I'm sure she will progress quickly.

Awesome Gerry and Congratulations to the young lady.
You are blessed. I can only wish that my wife would like to go hunting with me. I won't force it on her. If she decides to hunt it's a decision she will come to on her own.

Vince

Gerry that's fantastic! Now does she have her own special rifle yet?? She needs her very own little package to call her own and to pine over!!

Congrats to Maria on getting her BC Hunter number ! Its Great your Life Partner is also your hunting-fishing -camping partner as well now ! Good on you guys - You are a LUCKY man there Gerhard !

Cheers :) Jim

Gerry,
My personal suggestion is that you buy two bricks of 22LR ammo. I would suggest that you start with a mild hunting load instead of practice loads with Trail boss.
