So in the rifle section I posted about the rifle I had bought and set up for my nephew for his 18th and Grad.
Well after shooting the loads I had worked up, we settled on 58.5 grs of H-4831,Hrndy brass,cci 200's,and the 130 gr Hrndy interbond bullet. He was easily moa all the way out to 300Y with this set up.
Yesterday while at work I got the text , Brady and his Dad were moose hunting and one shot at 75ish yrds done the trick. I always think it's a good omen when the first shot at an animal with a rifle is a clean kill.
It was unseasonably warm so the got to work right quick and got here dressed and hanging in a buddy's cooler.
