I have never touched sierras before but heard nothing but good things. Last winter I had come across a deal on some so thought what the heck give them a try on coyotes. See if they are little more fur friendly then my current hornady v-max load. The top picture is the Sierra 55gr bthp gameking and the bottom picture is the Sierra 40gr hp. I forgot my chrony at home that evening so have no numbers. Just decent groups to show.
I think if I were getting groups like that, I could live with them being a little slower. Sierras have always shot and performed well for me, but I have no experience with the .224 bullets. Nice shooting.
Yes I'm pretty happy with the ease of getting these sierras to shoot. If it was one gun I would have said I got lucky with the load. But with two guns I believe they are a very easy bullet to make accurate.
