I can't help but 'think', I know that gets me in trouble, that 80-90 grain bullet range would be the place to work because of:
- 10 twt barrel
- if I start getting into 100 grain range why not just pull out the 257 Bee
Thoughts/suggestions on this logic?
You are right. If a .257wea does 3400ft/sec with a 117grain bullet and a .240wea does (officially)3400ft/sec with a 100grain bullet the last 17grain of the .257wea ain't gonna move a mountain and the animals can't tell the diffence.
