I've found that H-1000 and Barnes Bullets work the best in my Weatherby Mark V. I would really like to shoot Nolsers in it, but I just can't get them to shoot in this rifle.
I'm getting sub-MOA out of the 100 grain TTSX and 115 TSX using 74.0 grains and 72.0 grains of H-1000 respectively. I've also had pretty good luck with the 100 grain Hornady Interlocks, over 73.5 grains. I'm still refining this load as one of my groups was under 1/2" and the other opened up to about 1.25".
I'm also using the Federal Gold Medal Match Magnum Large Rifle primers and both Norma and Weatherby brass (Norma makes both in Sweden).
You'll absolutely love the .257 Weatherby. Every critter I've ever seen hit with one has been a bang-flop. Enjoy!
