New Remington?

I stopped by a local gun shop today and looked at a new Remington Mountain rifle in .260 Rem. Did they discontinue the lock on the bolt recently? This one did not have it and it is new enough to have the R3 recoil pad on it like on the CDL models.

Yep,
The "J lock" is history. I just recently bought a CDL in 7mmRUM, does not have it! yeah!! That new R3 pad is sweet, is a good recoil pad IMO.

The R3 pads are nice, I put a limb saver on my 350 and a R3 on my 30-06. Glad to see thoose J- locks are gone. can I get a new bolt for mine with out the j lock???
