I think it is a sharp rifle, it would be a nice all around gun with a 5rd box mag. I imagine it is very handy and should be plenty accurate for most hunting inside 300 yards. Scotty

Doesn't really do much for me. I would rather have an original Frontier than that thing. That huge box mag has to really screw up the handling of it.

I guess it looks very practical to me, and with a 5rd box, I would think it would be okay. They are regular M14 mags, so you could use about any of the good ones I think. Your right though, alot of folks wouldn't like the look, but it does look very practical for hunting and such. Scotty

I realise that it wouldn't appeal to many people, but it is designed as a "Scout Rifle" a la Jeff Cooper's Scout Rifle concept. In that context, it is a skookum rifle.
