This is my question. I purchased a brand new Bar Safary in 300win. mag
with boss for moose and I want to make a load with the 180 AccuBond. I currently have the number 4 reloading book and theres no reference to the AccuBond loads. Can I use the same specs as the 180 balistic tip or are
they two different bullets all together??

First off welcome buddy!

Glad you can make it here. I think you will like it.

As far as your question goes - you have recieved a correct response. just subtitute 180 Ballistic tip or even Partition data for your Accubonds. As usual drop a few grains and work up. You will be fine. There is a new Manual coming from Nosler in Spring of 2007 I believe.

Thanks Pop!!
You're right cause I'm liking this forum already. When you say to start low and work my way up. How low should I start? Should I go let say 5 grains lower than the sujgested max and then work my way up?

Generally, Canuck, start low means about 10%. I say about, because you might want to start 9-12% low and work up one grain at a time, if 2% is about 1gr. That's usually what I do. Either way, you can do the calculations and start 10% low exactly if you want, I just like round numbers, pardon the pun.
