Non-lead Bullets?

I found that the 180gr Etip was way too hard for deer sized game at 300 Win Mag velocity. If I was Forced to shoot a Mono Metal. It would be a light for Caliber one. 150gr E-tip at 3300 for the 300 Win Mag. I would Probably go with the Lightest Mono Metal Made in Each Non Magnum Caliber. If there was not a Light Option I would shoot Bone
Interesting.

The Barnes 150 TTSX has been used by Dad for a few years now in his 7mm Weatherby at 3060fps, and he has done very well on deer.

Allegedly the gilded metal of the E-tip is harder than the copper used by Barnes. That may be a part of it?

I think you might do better to power down to a smaller caliber if you own one. Just a thought.

With bullets that need 2200fps Impact Velocity or Higher to act correctly, Slower is not something I would want.

The Ttsx only need 1800fps to open up. I have found the Ttsx opens up a bit better than the original x or even tsx
