Norma's Cartridge of the Month

Jake,
Are you going to build a gun of the month too? My 257Bee will shoot the 120gr Partition into 3/4" groups going 3600fps(31" barrel).

If I were to purchase a Weatherby; the .257 is what I'd get

Well written article.

Since RL26 seems to be the flavor of the month  I'll have to see what it could do in mine.

My fiber mark Mark V shoots the 110 AB at 3550 and does it under .6" at 100 yards.

Nope can't don't have a magnum action.

Yes you do. Ain't nothin to open up the bolt face a smidge for a 257 Wby or any other .532" cartridge....

All the Winchesters can be easily adjusted via a bolt stop adjustment as well.

I thought that was a pretty well written article on the ol' speedster...

Great cartridge way back when, and now. A fair bit more zip than my .25-06... In fact it's right up there with some claims for the .257 Roberts AI that I've seen....

Now that's funny!

I couldn´t help to see what the .270WSM had to offer with the Norma Kalahari 120grain bullet. That too is a badass round. Very tempting to have a rifle made up in that caliber.

No Scotty there's too many awesome cartridges to chamber rather than ruin the action and open the bolt up.

It was actually my second. I have a 700 Classic in .300, that I've never shot. If I go according to plan, my next Weatherby will be a .340, in a Stainless M70 Classic. Maybe a .375, same platform.

Ironically, the only Weatherby rifle I have is a .223 Remington...
