been watching the pro shop website for a while waiting for 2nds in .25cal 110 AB and .30cal 165 AB. anyone know when is the best time to catch them available?
I have called, and was told that the more popular 2nds bullets are bought up by the walk-in customers. This tells me two things, Nosler's manufacturing process doesn't generate a whole lot of seconds and/or the people around that area buy a substantial amount of bullets.
FYI, I've been watching for 270 140AB and 338 225AB for about two and a half to three months without seeing any available on line. Fortunately I have enough to tide me over for a while, but when push comes to shove, I'll buy firsts from someone.
HA! Walk-in customers accuse the e-commerce folks of buying up all the 2nds! The thing to do is either call like JD338 said, or watch the website like a hawk. The number of bags of 2nds we get for a given caliber vary quite a bit. Sometimes we'll have a bunch of one bullet, other times only a few. Don't forget, in a perfect world, there would be no seconds! (Lucky for you guys, we don't live in a perfect world) When all else fails, like Richracer1 said, buy the firsts. Happy shooting!
