Nosler Factory Second Brass

Hello. Has anyone used the Factory 2nd brass that Shooters Pro offers? How does it compare to the Factory 1st? I just ordered a count of 50 to try, but was wondering if anyone knows anything about the quality. For the price, I didn't think I had much to lose. Thanks for any replies. Cretch

Welcome to the forum.

The factory seconds brass is not weight sorted and may have some minor discoloration and dents.
The sorted brass is +/-1 grain total for a box of 50 brass.
This is really nice stuff.

I've been using Nosler 2nds brass in .308 and have had great luck. It is hard to see why they are seconds. However, with that said, Nosler 1sts are weight sorted +/- .5 gr. I have seen as much as +/- 4.7 gr with the .308 seconds.

JD338, Thanks for the welcome. It sounds like this brass will be just fine for my hunting loads. I sure the quality will be as good and probably better than the Remington & Winchester brass I had been using. Thanks again for the replies. Cretch

Nosler seconds will be far superior to R-P and W-W.
