Nosler Partition Improvement?

Patience my little grasshoppers~

good (great or spectacular) things come to those who wait!

Alrighty, the official USAF Air Command and Staff College In-Residence list comes out Thursday. Now I have 2 things to wait for!

Can't wait for the announcement. Wish that it could have possibly come before hunting season. Oh well, now I have something to work on this winter  --tis a good thing I have an understanding wife!
Oh and RL 33 to kick around as well.
Does Quick Load work on a Mac?

RL33 and some awesome 150 "something's" would keep me busy for a little while I think!

I'm hoping that there will be something new for the 270 weatherby and STW! Going to be a long winter. Anybody want a 2010 Arctic Cat HCR? I'm not going to have time for it.

Oh yes!

I would like to see a bonded solid base (BSB) bullet, I guess we will see in a few hours if it is those or a VLD style to compete with Berger. I liked the Partition Gold bullets as well, shot my only caribou and a black bear with a 180 out of a 308 Norma Mag, they were great bullets.

Against the tide, maybe, but I hate to see something fixed when it ain't broken!

Won't be

Amazing... almost 40 years of using Nosler bullets now. They've got my bullet needs more than covered. And yet something new is coming soon?

Good grief! Very interested in seeing what coming...

Partitions - very fast expansion, and great penetration, good accuracy
Ballistic Tips - well proven and refined, very accurate, much tougher than many believe
Ballistic Tip varmint - accurate & explosive, exactly what I want for varmint hunting
AccuBond - essentially a bonded Ballistic Tip, with performance on game that closely duplicates the Partition
E-Tip - intended for markets where a lead-free bullet is required, and likely an improvement over existing mono-metal bullets - I haven't yet used the E-Tip, but I can read...
Custom Comp - good enough to win matches at long range for sure!

Yup - they've already got me well covered... What's next?

Or maybe a bonded VLD style, come on Nosler let us know what it is soon! :)

Between the B-tip, AB & PT all the bases are really covered. And the PT has different tapers up front based on caliber or weight like the which offer different choices depending on game size. Examples are CT partitions heavier weight in some .308 cals that most likely be used on elk sized game and larger cals like .338 & 358" etc..

Pts have soft noses and seem to expand very well even way out there. If you knowingly going to shooting at +200 yards the AB will do the job of expanding and retaining weight all with a high BC.

A $3 bullet is not something I look forward to. The PT's are the most expensive bullets I care to use. There is always a need to market new products and one could be bonded solid bases bullet shape can be based on which cartridge it is designed for spitzer, flat pt., etc..

Exactly! Remember Murphy's second law. "If it ain't broke, dont fix it." Partitions ain't broken.
