does any one have a recipe for pickled salmon?


granny used to make this stuff and I love it but cant seem to find a recipe for it.

I remember that she would have it in a bucket in the fridge, it would have a white brine with lots of onions.

if any one has the recipe I would be great ful.

I tried it once about 10 years ago and it worked well but don't have a recipe anymore. Bet there are a few good recipes on line. When we were kids my dad would occasionally bring home pickled herring from the deli and man that was a treat, would like to try herring one day as well although the salmon worked well and was easier to get.

gerry this Christmas seasons we will be enjoying Rollmops along with Komina Cass :mrgreen:. Then for New Years we have a few Apple Floppies to bring in the New Year!!
