All seasons are busy. If I have some lead time, I will make time to be available as much as possible. The winters aren't that bad, Rodger. We only have two seasons here--winter and three weeks of hard sledding.
If I can make it happen I will give you plenty of lead time my Friend probably in late June or early July. I have to make a trip to South Carolina in the spring which I already paid for.

If you come towards the west farther you will have a place to stay at our house as well Rodger.

Oh, yeah, and Gerry and Maria have the fishing! Again, great country over toward the coast. The Prairies have their charm, as I'm sure Dan can attest.

Mike...you're not telling the whole story!

Gerry and Dan...he's lusting after my Remingtons again!!! LOL

And on the blue grouse, he forgot to mention that before his faceplant, he did demonstrate his teachings of the "two-shot"...Noah, does come by it honestly...just like his navel inspection routine! LOL

But I have to be honest...a couple of my rock ptarmigan with Mike's T-Bolt weren't one shot kills either. I've seen and harvested willow ptarmigan before, but these rockies are a lot smaller. I had been warned that they were bad bleeders...boy is that an understatement! I wanted to get a couple stuffed with my lynx from last January...I'll end up getting the large male blue grouse stuffed with the lynx instead. Should be great!

It was a great day!

One grouse! One grouse! And BlkRam is grousing. That one grouse was dead and didn't know it.

What is a grouse or two amongst friends .
Being up on the mountain shooting is just a pleasure even if one of the two guys has little better eye than the other .
I am sure looking forward to DrMike's & Blkram's next adventure (y)!!

Blessings,
Dan

Well Dan and Gerry, Mike did it!

He got himself a Remington in 28 gauge, and managed to bring to bag 4 grouse this weekend! (We just won't remind him of the 3 that got away the day before! LOL ...to be fair, I think that he's still a little unsteady after that nasty cold/flu that he had been suffering through from the previous week, glad to see him feeling better). My wife even got a couple of grouse with the 28 and enjoyed being out with us on Saturday.

We only saw four deer in farmer's fields over two long days covering most of the country that you both saw while you were here, a couple of large grey owls and lots of grouse. It was a lot of fun again, saw some nice country and had fun shooting chickens (and a little bull! LOL). Finally saw some snow on Saturday afternoon. This will help set up deer season nicely!

Hey, ya'all are up in the Pink Mountain country.
Say Hi to a bloke I know up there, Daryl Mills, 1994 World Champion Bullrider.

Beautiful Dr. Mike! I need to expand my hunting region to include Canada.

Joel,

God has blessed me richly in permitting me to live in this area. I've walked in and seen some of the most beautiful country imaginable. I am a blessed man.

A Remington what is Dawson Creek coming too . I guess Mike has seen the light  on what a Remington can do when shouldered by a lefty so now Gil is likely giving Mike secret lessons on shooting from the proper side.
That country has some of the most beautiful scenery that I have ever visited and if I was 35 years again I would definitely be looking at moving there.
Glad you three had a good time :) was Noah there as well?

Blessings,
Dan
