Price on Win 264?

Good looking piece of wood. I don't know how much prices vary in the States, but that wouldn't be a bad price here in Canada. For sure, I'd not hesitate to take it at that price.

I think shes way overpriced myself Fotis...

I wouldn't pay more then 800 for that rifle if it was me.

I've never paid more then 750 for a model 70 and thats new...

I realize its a 264 but my dad bought one not even 10 years ago new at the same time in 264 when I bought my 25-06 and we only paid 600 a piece...

Id shop around bit more.

Nice looking rifle for sure, not saying its not by any means, but I think its a bit steep myself...

Way too high! I just called my local dealer last week and he said he would order me one for $779 plus tax(5.5%). Trouble is none of his wholesalers had any in their inventories. I did however put one on backorder. As soon as he can get one I will have one

I paid 600 for my M70 Sporter 264. My wood isn't as nice as that but I'm not sure the wood is 500 nicer on that rifle. They are some very sharp rifles!

I am not looking to pick one up. Just spitballing.

When I see a lot of Model 70's from this generation of manufacturing going for $600, it is hard to get excited about this particular gun just because the wood in a little better. This is USRAC rifle and as such does not command high prices based on generally indifferent workmanship.

I had a .338 with really pretty wood from the same era but the barrel was installed badly and off axis. I sold the gun at a loss soon after that because I could not properly sight the gun in.
