Hi there,

I have only enough RL17 to run one OCW for my .300 WSM. Could somebody please run a Quickoad for
a) 168 g TTSX, and
b) 180 g TTSX (Alliant's website data is way too hot for this bullet)

Also, for anybody with experience trying these two weights for TTSX/TSX and with this powder, which one was more accurate for you (i.e., which one would you suggest). I am leaning towards 168 as this seems to be the weight that many seem find better RL17.

Thanks

BTW, Intended game is moose.

I can say that in my 30-06 168TTSX your QL data for the 300 is spot on(56.70gr @ 2807) I get 56.5gr @ 2800. I know my 30-06 love all 168gr. I personall found this bullet weight to work great in many different 30 cal rifles. That load is what I killed my moose with in Vermont this year.

Not entirely sure about the BC between the Nosler ETip and TTSX but I ran a ladder test this morning with 168gr ETip and RL-17. Very promising groupings at 200 yards with 64.0 and 64.5 gr RL17. (sub 1" group)

With the Sierra GK 180gr, with RL17 and 66.9 gr I was shooting sub one inch groups at 200 yards.

These should be good starting points for you 300WSM. I use a Tikka3 .300 WSM with these loads. let me know how it goes.
