Having just purchased a M70 30-06 with a 22" barrel I loaded some test rounds with the same powder and LOA.
The correlation was amazing, as in my rifle the results were.
54 gr. RL-17 2680 fps
55 gr. RL-17 2735 fps
56 gr. RL-17 2781 fps
Time to dial in BOSS setting for optimum accuracy. I hope it shoots as well as the 165 gr, test loads did.
