Quickload help?

I am as excited as all get out to hunt with the Newton this Fall Mike. Not sure if I will be able to elk hunt, so some poor, unsuspecting WT might get the good news. You know, just to make sure it works! :lol:
 
Funny, that. My first game with the 9.3X64 was a smallish whitetail buck that was dropped with a 250 grain AB. That bullet did flatten him--one minute he was standing there fletching behind a doe and the next he was gone. :shock: Man, I felt like Fotis for a minute of two. :grin:

That makes me real happy just thinking about it! I have a good load running that 225AB at 2960, so I'd think a deer might have a similar effect with the Newton as well. Sure is alot of mass moving downrange!

It would be better if it was an elk though. That is the goal!..
