Decent day today so I went out for a spell.

The 25-06 Custom Deluxe did a nice .5" group at 100 yards. With the 110 AB and rl 25 it did 3135 fps.
Still not too bad!

The 356 was a riot!

220 Speer FP with Win 748 at 2320 fps 1.4"

and with 220 Speer FP with H322 at 2310 fps .8"

The 325 WSM was OK. Like I said there seem to be so many different data out there that I just loaded up some feelers for velocity and pressure.

The 150 gr Hornady did 3300 fps with H4895 and 1.25" group

With the 200 gr Partition and IMR 4350 it did about 1.5" and 2885 fps.
With RL22 it did average 2800 fps BUT extreme spread was over 100 fps which explained the 2 in 1 hole and one 2" away.

Then I shot my new Sig Sauer P226 9mm. 15 yards rapid shooting 15 shots. Sights need to be adjusted to the right a bit.

Overall a great day I think!

Not a bad day at all. That Model 94 isn't doing badly with the 220 Speers. 0.8 inch is very good indeed, and the velocity is right in the ballpark. Consequently, H335 seems to give me slightly better performance than H322. However, I find I keep returning to IMR4895. The 325 WSM is certainly giving good velocity for you. It will work out as the rifle settles in. That 25-06 load will only create anxiety for Scotty. He'll be stimulated to hurry on the pillar bedding just so he can keep up with you.

Nicely done Fotis! A good day indeed! 8)

Hopefully I will figure something out with the 325 WSM. i know where it is velocity wise now with 4 different powders so I can figure more powders out now.

Thats some mighty fine pistol work there! That 25 isn't shooting to shabby either!

Man, both those loads with your 356 are keepers I think. That 220gr Speer is a good one and at 2300+ is a killer for sure.

As for your 25-06, I am remaining silent. That is impressive and I cannot wait to try some other loads once the rifle is finished! I am deep down trying to not to scream right now FYI!

Seems like that 325 is going to do well as it breaks in some more. Great speed and good looking groups, probably a little tweaking and you will be done. Scotty

Scotty, I'm gonna save my latest 25-06 groups for when you're having a bad day

I had to move the target out to 250yards to make sure I was hitting the target more than once!!

Well you know wht they say in the US Military...

If your feelings are going to get hurt, leave them at home!

Good point Pop! My feelings aren't hurt, more of a pride issue right now!!!! I will get it back on track this week I think! Scotty
