Must admit down here we are quite parochial about our powders and we thank our lucky stars to have the ADI products. But it can cause us to not explore the other good options.

I am really keen to see what this R17 can do in my 270 and 30-06 too now.... I might even give it a run in the LR 308 with some heavies. Probably a tad slow for that but maybe with a 208 Amax or 210 ABLR....

Alliant powders are my staple Bob. I like Hodgdon but I'm Alliant freak.

We could say the same thing here about IMR powders which are Canadian made. Right now we have good supplies of Hodgdon and IMR but Ramshot and Alliant are hard to find. You mentioned ADI powders being more expensive there compared to the U.S. we have the same thing with IMR powders, you would think it would be cheaper in the countries where they are made...........

Cool little round by the way, should work very well with minimal recoil which is always nice.
