Has any member on here had a reamer reground to a different caliber based on the same case? I would like to save a little coin and time on an existing reamer I have. Open to thoughts.

If I were building multiple rifles or planning to re-barrel to the same cartridge I would buy a reamer and I assume it is possible to re-grind, but don't know at what cost. For me, it has been more economical to rent them from companies like 4D. So far, in renting I've not received a reamer that I wasn't happy with although it could be possible if they weren't inspected after each return or they tried to keep them in-service too long.

It’s a PT&G reamer and right now they thinning my patients.

Good luck with PTG. I ordered 4 blueprinted actions from them on Black Friday and I checked them on a arbor made in my Doosan CNC lathe that holds .0003-.0004" accuracy. One was "blueprinted" the other 3 were worse then a factory saw cut Remingtons. Remington actions that I trued were better than all of them. I just talked to them about it today so we'll see how this ends up.

My MIA action is from the Cyber Monday sale. I first wondered if I would ever receive it , now I wonder if it’s usable.
