Rem 700 in .257 Bee....

I've attempted to take pictures of this one several times at the things I don't like about it.....I'm a die-hard Remington Fan....BUT there doesn't appear to be anymore Pride in the entire line.....

Now granted I do understand this close to the basic entry level 700..close to anyway. The " F " deisgnation for the safety is stampted crooked as well as the " S " The barrel is extremely rough....
Just not the quality of the rest of the Remingtons it sits next too.... For the same price it'll be hard to pass up the Tikka's

Then again I didn't purchase this to win a show & shine contest..... it's close to the lightest rifle I have, so it'll be my pack rifle .... I'm sure the deer and elk won't care.....

Just add a few aftermarket goodies little bit at a time. Jewell trigger,

Just going on second hand information, but I read somewhere (Layne Simpson in ST maybe?) that for a rough and tumble hunting trigger, Timneys are a better way to go. No first hand knowledge, though.

And depending on budget, I like the McMillans a little better. Of course, MPI is just down the road from me...
