Hey all- I know Ive seen posts related to this here before but cant find it. I was trying to help a guy get his rifle sighted in at the public sight in today. That went Ok despite the Tasco scope and see through rings ( why do folks do that  ). Any way, he's on target but about every third round the case would fail to extract and would need to be tapped out with a rod. The base of the case would be torn away by the extractor. My diagnosis was a fouled chamber. A few shots of gun scrubber did nothing to alleviate the problem. In the end I gave him the number of a good smith as I am not about to disassemble a Remington Automatic on the bench at the range. Thoughts or ideas? I'd bet money I will see a similar issue again in the next two weeks. CL
