I got the nicest note today, from a woman who had taken my Basic Handgun Class - wow - she thanked me for teaching her to safely handle a revolver. Normally she shoots a compact semi-auto. All of my students in the Basic Handgun class get instruction on both revolvers and semi-autos, and I tell them that's because they'll never know when they might need to safely handle one or the other.

Recently she was in a position where she had to unload a .38 revolver - which she had only done in my class. She handled it well, safely, and got the gun unloaded with no drama.
When you teach someone to shoot - put safety first!
Regards, Guy
