RL17

Because I know what that caliber in my rifle will do. 25/06 velocities are not to far of a reach, IF I do my job right.

110 gr. AccuBond is be able to attain 3000 fps not 2700 -2800 with the right mixture of powder, primer, seating depth and person pulling the handle. Plus shoot tiny dime size groups at 200 yards. All I might add, very very safely.

Yeah 60-65K look at your SAMMI specs. Brass will probably be your weak point. Just work up slow.

I think it is time for some +P brass.

I run 4895 and 4350 outta the Bob and she flat shoots. RL 17 runs at about the same burn rate as 4350. That's what makes the 257 7 Mauser 280 Rem 35 Whelen so underrated. Factory loads and most load data is for old actions and lower pressures, and in the case of the 280 and 35 for pumps and autoloaders. Look at the results these guys get with the 35 and 225 AB when loaded properly what a hammer.

I tried RL17 in several rounds 30-06 338 Win mag etc.

I never ever had a good group. Do not know why...

RL-17 will generally give great velocities more consistently than it will consistent accuracy from cartridge to cartridge and from rifle to rifle. When it is accurate you get the best of both worlds, accuracy and velocity, but in my many trials with it I find it not giving good groups as consistently across the spectrum like powders. Like I said when it works it gives you the best of both worlds. Really drives a 145gr Speer very fast and with good groups in my 7mm08 M48 TGR but that is the only bullet in that rifle that RL-17 did well with (this is just an example of what I am trying to say, I havet tried it in quite a few cartridges and calibers to date).
