Rosewood

I’ve never worked much with rosewood, especially this African Rosewood, but I got a blank to experiment with, and I gotta say, I’m quite pleased with how it finishes, and golly, it’s a sweet sounding call.

They are turkey calls. More specifically what's known as a "pot and peg" type. This should explain it better

Finished off that piece of rosewood with a crystal call. I powder blasted half the crystal and etched a turkey track on it. Rosewood will definitely be added to my stash. It just plain works and sounds great. The crystal call is available for sale. I’m being stingy with the copper call.
