Rossi m92 45 colt

I think the vast majority of folks would be better off with a short barreled carbine like yours than with nearly any handgun, especially in bear country. It's impossible to ignore a 335 grain bullet at 1500+ fps.

I think those shoot plenty good enough at 100 yards for such a rifle.

G'Day Fella's,

The Bear_78, great choice in caliber there!
In a strong little rifle like the 1892 Winchester design, the .45 Colt comes into it's own!
Here are some images of mine, as I was sighting in/adjusting the iron sights.

The load I was sighting in/adjusting the iron sights, on this rifle for, was with a 300grn bullet at 1550+ fps
This is WAY OVER ANYTHING YOU WILL SEE IN ANY RELOADING MANUAL but in a strong rifle action like the 1892 Winchester (but NOT the 1894!!!), it is a Maximum Safe Working Load!
Also, I wouldn't use it in ANY .45 Colt revolver!!!
But remember Rossi do chamber a model of the 1892 rifle, for the .454 Casull!
By the way, with a steel butt plate on my rifle, you do know when you have dropped the hammer!!!

Hope that helps

Doh!
