Had a couple of these show up in town at a local gunshop. Wow!!! Beautiful rifles.

I am a #1 slut! Just want my 378 bee right now.

Yep nice looking guns...and I certainly can see the appeal of the #1's. But as a relatively sheltered Yooper........why would you want a single shot for lions? Or is it just a model?

Darned if I know, but a friend of mine hunts Cape Buff with a Bow and Arrow... So, whatever turns your bolt...

Long[/quote.........................There are going to be 5 editions, each with limited production. Each edition and caliber is to be named after an African animal; lion, rhino, elephant and so on. The "lion" edition is in the .375 Ruger.

Personally, I wouldn`t use a single shot for any potentially dangerous and dangerous game. Too slow for my preference.

Nice rifle, looks good, nice cartridges for dangerous game but not the right rifle. ANYONE who would face an African lion up close with one shot or a Cape Buffalo is out of there mine. They have never been there or done that and if they had and lived or were not hurt I bet they would use at least a double rifle the next time.

Now for use in North America great except for LARGE brown bears up close.

Once again, very nice rifles.

...................In agreement! I prefer a bolt for the dangerous stuff! Not a single shot!!
