Ruger 10/22 Takedown

Has anyone messed around with one of these?

The wife gave me a gift certificate to the local hook and bullet to go buy something that goes bang...I've looked at these off and on and haven't talked to anyone with one yet. Just looking for overall impressions. Thinking this might make a good addition for a camp gun to pot grouse and ptarmigan and such.

I have one, and it is slick. I like it. Stays zeroed, and its a 10/22...

I like mine too, wish I had waited until they came out with the threaded barrel but they are pretty fun. Very light and plenty accurate. The takedown system is pretty well designed.

I have one that my wife gave me for Christmas a few years ago. It's great. No problems with staying zeroed. No problems with ammo cycling. I replaced the sights with fiber optic sights. I'm planning to put a scope on it but it has to be a small one so that it will still fit in the case.
