I am starting a new thread because I believe I have found a very consistent powder that is showing promise and with proper bullet seating accuracy will be good and velocities are also good for a 22" barrel and a 165gr bullet. I was able to reach just over 2800fps and not having pressue issues yet.

Deviation and Extreme Spread are something else. Only had time to try a few experimental loads this morning but will be doing and exhaustive work up with AA2495BR after what I have seen. This could be a real sleeper for the 06, just as we let some bullets slip under the radar screen.

Look at these targets (which are just under and inch but consistent) and these chrony readings on Deviation and Extreme Spread:

Yes I will and I keep moving my seating depth just a tad at a time and the groups are becoming more consistent. I will see what this will do. I know I do not have a match rifle but I think I can get a 1/4" tighter group and that will be really good. This AA2495BR works great in my 358 and is showing promise in my 06. Will see what happens and what ever does it will be fun getting there.
