Scotty please come to Colorado and work up those magic rounds for me and my 338 Win Mag. Great shooting for 300 yards!!!!!

It looks as if those rifles are ready to work this fall. Fine rifle work, gentlemen.

BK - that's what I was thinking when I saw that .81" 300 yard group from a .300 RUM... Impressive!

Thanks fellas! Was in a hurry to post the pics and forgot about load data. My 300RUM is still shooting the 200gr AccuBond, Retumbo, and Fed 215M. I have switch from Remington brass to Nosler brass and using 95gr of Retumbo. Muzzle velocity was 3170 fps. I have learned to give that 300RUM more than two minutes between shots if I want to shoot small groups at 300 yards and further. Scotty will have to comment more on his loads. I think the 338WM was shooting a 250 Partition at 2700fps. I was very impressed with that 338 at 300 yards and it is alot of fun to shoot. The 264WM is shooting the 130gr AccuBond at 3250fps? That 264WM has done very well also.

Thanks for posting them up Brian.

The 338 is shooting 70.5gr of RL19, CCI250's, Nosler cases and the 250gr PT. Loads for that run in the 2740 range. Plenty of spunk to them and they seem to shoot well.

The 264WM is shooting Retumbo, 130gr AB, Nosler case, and CCI250's for the primer. They run 3350 out of my M70.

The 358 Win using WW cases, W748, 225gr PT, CCI BR2's. They are clipping about 2440 or so. That is one of the coolest loads so far for the BLR. If it had a decent trigger in it, I would expect much more out of the rifle, but that is about as good as I can do with it at this point.

Hopefully with a little trigger work on the 264WM, I can tighten things up a bit with that rifle. It seems to be getting tough for me to really have a clean break on shots without a bunch of dry firing to get tuned into the rifle. It does shoot well though, and have really gotten to be a good rifle. It is very flat.

Brian, your 300RUM is right on point man! Glad we were able to coax it along some. Seems burning almost 100gr's of powder really requires some major cooling time! Who would have thought it! Scotty

"My 300RUM is still shooting the 200gr AccuBond, Retumbo, and Fed 215M."

That's exactly what I was shooting with mine a few years back. It's turned out to be pretty much a standard load for the .300 RUM - for good reason.

Guy, that load is unreal. It is truly a power (or powder) house load! Can't see anything I wouldn't want to use that load on. Scotty

My rifle has always shot that combo well and switching to Nosler brass tightened it up just a bit

Brian, that load will allow you to tackle the mighty elk this fall. No worries on reaching out and touching one. Scotty, you're good to go with any of those rifles for this hunt.

The 200 grain AB will work quite well on grizzly. I don't believe you need to worry about that. Hit bone, and it is game over.

Great groups! You guys are dialed in for sure. !!!! Only 8 weeks to go (seems like a lifetime) wish I liked to fish!!!

Working on new painting project this week no shooting trying to get finished up. Summer is here Temps last two days 104 but 60's at night. Cooling down the rest of the week.

Nice shooting guys! Dialed in for certain! Boy that 264 WM sure would drop a Mountain Goat in a hurry wouldn't it!
