Scouting trip

Been at the beach for a couple of weeks and had some really nice days. Managed to get out and scout some new ground in my archery area. Practiced calling on both days but called in nothing. Did see the backend of one bear near the house on my way back home. Saw a few elk!!! And lots of tracks.

The elk will assuredly get the blood pumping--even during spring. It emphasizes the need of getting loads and rifles ready for the fall. Great pictures, Bill.
