Set 160gr Speer SBT

All of the 7mm's are deadly on deer, especially with the 160 grain bullets! I have shot deer with both the .280 Rem and the 7mm Rem Mag and they die like they have been hit by lightning, DRT. Your rifle certainly shoots nice sized groups! If you can shoot a 20 shot group like that repeatably, those bullets are working for you!

I have not shot a 20 round group with the 160gr yet only with the 120gr BT and the 150gr BT, but as soon as I finish my final tweak of my hunting load this coming week (needed to adjust the OAL) I will load up 20 rounds of the 160gr and shoot them and see how they do. Some might ask why I tinker with and shoot so many of my loads that shoot well and the answer has to do with confidence in the field. When in the field after knowing how well my load does time and again at the range I never give it a thought in the field that I might miss with my load and that pays off in big dividends - namely dead game.

Thanks. Never tried w760 before. Have to give it a try if i can find some. I have had great success with varget so far.
