I went by the dealer today and picked up the Remington 700 Classic in the marvelous 35 Whelen. It was actually better looking than the photos on the website showed. In fact, it looks like it has barely been used at all...most pleased. The bore looked as new and so did the Weaver 4X that came with it Bright glass and no marks of any sort.
This and the 7x57 just recently bought and haven't got to shoot yet will give me an incentive of getting out of the hospital late next week after the surgery and hopefully get back to the range soon. I think I'll spend tomorrow loading some Nosler 225 and 250 gr Partitions for it and the Hornady 200 gr Spire Point. If this doesn't make a feller want to get well, he's hopeless.
