shooter pro shop prices

My current Nosler rifle & handgun bullet inventory is at 15K.

Is that all? You're slacking! How do you plan to stimulate the economy with just 15K Nosler bullets? I like to see that my purchases serve a patriotic purpose of boosting the economy.

Right now Nosler's 2nd's pricing for the 160 and 175 7mm NPT is $2 per box higher than Midways 1st's prices.

It is a little crazy. Nosler says they are raising all the prices of their bullets, so it will seem like 2nds will be a deal again. Kinda scary if they are going up that much! Scotty

I suppose my quest for decent priced .338 210gr PT seconds is over with all of the price increases from Nosler.

If you have any extra laying around Rich I'll take 50 off your hand.

Sorry, no 210 Nosler anything. I have 200AB, 200ET, 225AB, 250AB, 250PT & 250PTG.

Hey guys, I'll talk to the guys in the Pro Shop and see if I can get them to get on here and answer some questions for you. That way there's nothing lost in the message.

As of April 1st our costs increased but we held off on marking up the prices until we absolutely had to. I talked to Midway yesterday about their prices and was told that they are still in the process of increasing their prices. So if Midway has what you need you might want to buy them out before their prices go up also.

I hope they aren't increasing prices on existing inventory, that was bought at a lower price, just so they can increase their profit margin at the expense of their customers!!! Any new inventory bought at a higher cost by Midway I can understand raising prices but to raise prices on existing and cheaper inventory is pretty low in my book.

Scott,

It sounds as if they are selling existing inventory at the prices reflecting their cost. That is the reason the prices are lower than SPS. My impression of Midway is that they are a quality concern. If they were going to raise prices on existing inventory, they would have already done so. This appears to be the basis for SPSs statement that "if Midway has what you need you might way to buy them out before their prices go up also." As I said, existing prices on old stock in Canada reflects past purchases, but all new prices (and not only for Nosler) reflect the new prices of the manufacturers.

I agree with you Mike. Now is the time to buy existing inventories.

Midway, Midsouth and others are selling Nosler Firsts, you are selling seconds for more $$. If and when they increase their prices I doubt they will be much more if any $$ than your seconds. Right Now Nosler itself is selling Partition Firsts for only $4 more than your Seconds per 50. That's SAD,very SAD.

Old stock, new stock, duno, but I do know that the Pro Shops New stock prices have dropped almost 20% in the last 24 hours on some Partitions.

Whoever at Nosler read this and adjusted their prices, Thank You! Again, you guys are the top of the heap! Scotty

After seeing the comments, we reviewed the pricing and found that there was a HUGE error when calculating the new numbers, on both firsts and seconds. As many of you noticed, the firsts prices changed first, and we have just finished readjusting the seconds. Raw material costs have certainly increased, but only by a dollar or two per bag. We're very sorry for the confusion and sticker shock. All orders placed on the incorrect pricing will be adjusted and appropriate refunds will be credited. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to give us a call or shoot us an email.

By the way--there ARE some pretty good deals to be had on the firsts through Cabelas and Midway, etc.. Since pricing will be going up, many of these retailers are "discounting" old stock so they only have one cost on their items--it makes their accounting easier. Nosler has updated everything to the new MSRP's for reference.

Thanks!

Thank you SPS Guys for taking a second look at the pricing structure.
You have a lot of dedicated Nosler fans here and you just made them real happy by adjusting your pricing. We all realize that the base cost of raw materials goes up and it is out of our control that the markets drive.

Thanks for posting this for us.

Though I really can't avail myself of the excellent prices, I really appreciate the attitude and responsiveness of the Nosler team. Thank you.
