She is a good monster.I have a similar problem. My wife says ok but I want a new one too!
She’s been eyeing the Weatherby Capra in 25 Wby RPM. And of course she’s sold on the Leupold VX-5HD 3-15x44mm FireDot duplex.
I created a monster.

Well, I'm happy to report that i got to the range, and wow does it shoot great! It is so smooth. I brought along my EMPs and Dan Wesson Kodak, you can definitely feel the progression in quality between them. I am sure i would have been happy with another Dan W but definitely no regrets with the Nighthawk.Yeah. Now we need a range report.![]()
Once you nail down which load it prefers, and you get used to it, the accuracy will come around!Well, I'm happy to report that i got to the range, and wow does it shoot great! It is so smooth. The feel and balance makes it seem much lighter than it is, especially for all steel and at 38.2oz. They feel about the same weight, But you can sure tell the difference in recoil from the lighter EMP with the extra 7+oz
I will say that i was a little disappointed that it didn't automatically make me shoot the tight groups that Guy has been posting with his 1911s hahah![]()
