After all the selling of a lot of firearms online and locally (due to my situation) I settled on a select few.
Sako TRGS 30-378
Sako Deluxe 7mm rum
sako Finnwolf 308----This one I had a few years. Took me a whole year to shoot it!
and Tikka T-3 Realtree SS in 30-06

The 378 bee is still in it's place and it is the only Bee left. It got a MK4 4.5x14x40mm--Toughest scope Leo makes according to them.

Now I do have tons of experience with Sako and Tikka and I never seen one not be a tackdriver.

Enjoy.

Don't worry Fotis. It looks like you got the world covered. I sure hope things turn around for you so you can rebuild your stash.

Pretty good selection of cartridges. All the Sakos and Tikkas I've shot were well worth the money spent.

Looks like you're not undergunned for just about anything on this continent, Fotis. Ultimately you know you made the right decisions, so "let not your heart be troubled." I suspect in no time at all you'll be changing out rifles again. You have an amazing disease, sir.

I sincerely hope all is well with your family in Greece during these troubling times, and that you and your family out in WY enjoy peace and contentment in the coming years.

Thank you guys. I still got the varminters/levers---toys..

I am really happy with my choices. Both the 30-378 and 308 are accurate.
I am sure the SAKO 75 deluxe and tikka '06 will be as good. More than enough for me for at least now.

Fotis, that is really a pretty sweet core group you have there. Don't remember ever seeing that 7RUM, but man, it is nice! That one right there wouldn't leave you wanting much for Wyoming!

Wish you well mate. Hope you are able to get everything squared away.

Yup That SAKO 75 deluxe is almost too pretty to hunt with!
Gorgeous rifle.
With 93-94 gr of retumbo it should spit out 160 accubonds at 3250-3300 fps. That is flatter than Kate Hudson!

Leupold 30mm LR CDS 4.5x14x40mm

The TRGS got a Bushy 6500 2.5x16x42mm 30mm tube.

Nice, I am looking forward to hearing about your results with that rifle. That is just about a perfect set up.

Again, with that big 7, with 160's and 175's, there wouldn't be much you would need more for. Man, it would be sweet to see Nosler unleash a high BC 175-180 for the bigger 7's.

What happened to your TGR 300 you had Fotis? Did you sell it?

Yup. That did not end in marriage.

I'm surprised to see mostly Sako's. but it is a fine selection if I do say so. I thought you were really a savage fan.

Fotis - you'll like that scope a lot. I have one on the 300RUM and the clarity, magnification range are amazing.

Enjoy

Nothing really wrong with simplifying things abit.
While it goes against the gun nut in a lot of us, sometimes I believe I would be better off in keeping to 2-3 rilfes and 2 handguns. Still covering all needs perceivable on this continent. Then each pretty much up to one's wants or needs in that regard.
While sometime in the future, time/mobility/range may change things a bit,,,
given a 30-06, the Marlin .45-70, and something in .223 class, along with the .410 pistol and the .454 Casull, I just don't know what else I really would need. Now as stated, may be a bit more range capability might be a good thing. Then some sort of higher case volume 7mm, or .30 caliber would suffice, in place of the .30-06.

But you certainly have some very nice and servicable rifles there Fotis!!!!
Other than wants,,I can't really imagine a need beyond those. Not on this continent anyhow. Even though you still have some redundency going on in my opinion. Still nothing wrong with that either!!!
As of now I have plenty of redundency going on

Not much wouldn't be covered by the 30-378 and 378. The rest are just a bonus.

You said you kept the varminters. So you kept the 6mm you just got?

Despite having tons of guns I usually only hunt with 5-6/year. 1 or 2 varmint rifles, 1 or 2 shotguns, and usually only 2 rifles. Some years I hunt with my muzzle loaders when I can but not nearly as much as I use to. I usually shoot more then that and if I build a new one that sparks a fancy it moves up to a hunting gun. If it doesn't then it goes in the safe or the barrel get's removed and I build something else.

I have been a WBY///// savage /////SAKO nut my whole life.

Out of the three the savage and Sakos are the most accurate hands down and look wise the Sako edges out.

The 6mm was sold to a member here.
