Fotis those are some beautiful rifles, that last photograph is really something special.
It would be long until you are rebuilding that collection again  and you will help us all in satisfy that urge

Blessings,
Dan

FOTIS, would you be so kind as to define simplified for me    A man after my own heart 8) You know, you make me feel normal (I said feel) even though I am not, but that is a different subject.

Well instead of 8 wby's and a whole bunch of other overlapping rifles I am down to 5 BG rifles.

The Tikka 30-06 will be my back up to everything!

Sounds like a plan to me, and I like it. You do have everything covered for sure. That Tika will probably occupy your affection and actually become a very familiar thing in your hands even though you might not be planning for that to happen.

I think so. I have 3 boxes of 165 gr Partitions that I intend to load for her. I hope she likes them.

Fotis

We have bought, sold, given away firearms for years. I just recently invested in a 280 AI for a specific hunt

However:

Over the last 10 to 15 years, 90% of everything I hunt is with a 204 Ruger, 6.5 Swede, 275 Rigby, 300 H & H, 375 H & H, 416 Rigby or a 45/70. Seven rifles and I could eliminate either the 275 or 300, as they could hunt the same animals. Also the 45/70 is basically just a gun used when on horseback. Granted these are old and tired calibers and they basically work for me because of my gender. Pretty modest recoil, except for the 45/70.

You have all the guns you need to hunt anything you want to hunt and a great choice of calibers as well.

The 378 Weatherby wold definitely be out of my league, recoil wise. But one heck of a gun/caliber. I guess I could put a brake on it, but I am not fond of brakes.

You have some very nice guns

FOTIS could you take another picture of that Tika, all I can see is the barrel, the stock must be camouflaged or invisible or something

If you can shoot a 7mm rem mag or a 30-06 you can shoot this beast. The Williams proprietary brake makes it easy.

I can not find it......

Fotis,

Keeping it simple sounds great on paper but it isn't much fun.
Nice battery of rifles buddy.

Fotis

interesting that you sold a lot weatherbys, as a relative of mine who also has a nice stable of guns, but basically uses only two and they are both weatherbys. He hunts everything in North america with a 257 and 340 weatherby and carries a 30-06 as his back for both of them--three guns. for pasture poodles he uses a 22/250 and for africa a 458 lott. Five guns.

He and I agree with Jim that ii is fun to have and play with more, but he says he would have no problem hunting the world with just those five guns

you have a very nice collection of rifles and certainly enough to hunt whatever you want to hunt wherever you want to hunt it

I do have some fun guns too for playing
