So tell me why I need to load the 168gr BT over the 165

BC is upt to .490 from .475 and SD is up from .248 to .253 but really whats the deal here? why make the switch? Is the loading data going to be the same? what about the ogive on the 168? length?

Now that I have Nosler's new reloading book I can answer part of your question. THe loadind data is the same for both of those. As for the what's the difference, my guess would go towards preferance.
