So you boys think ya got this shootin stuff figured out

Pretty amazing shooting. Billy is to be congratulated, for sure. Three thousand six hundred fifty yards is some way out there.

I am just glad he had enough gun to make such a shot ! He had some pretty good backing it sounds like as well, I bet those rifles tested those Optiks as well

That's hard to believe. I'd be tickled to death to hit any size target at 500 yards.

Wait till Fotis gets his eyes healed up from surgery we"ll see if he can make his 375 Chey Tac sing.

for sure, I've always thought of extreme range as 1000-1500 yards, then I watched carlocks vid when he took a whitetail beyond 1900, now this, I feel like a newb with an open sighted 22LR, and I've taken several deer beyond 1K.

That is some wonderful shooting, rifle building, cartridge design, load develepment, spotting, etc. A lot went into making those shots.

Lotta cool events up at NRA Whittington Center in Raton as I have been asked to partake in some of them but I hate the city  I am in no shape to compete at anything at that altitude anymore as it is a great place, from what I have read about it and a great group of guys running all kinda competitions from Denver that take place all over Colorado and NM ! Sniper Hide guys do some events as well from their! You can stretch out just about anything yo own around that area! Just be ready for altitude as it will mess with you and your dope! Was speaking of the card type of dope for Colorado guys!

That's some serious shooting.

In The Corps, we just called for artillery or an air strike at that distance...

As long as you called in the rite coordinates it's all good as people have been known to call in where they were standing which did not usually work out very well !

Ive hit thousands of targets well beyond that distance...............with a 155mm howitzer! I was tickled to get a chuck at 634yds last year. I cant imagine 2 miles.

Amen to that.. Air was more fun to watch at those sorta distances.. Heck, the old AC130 would run down some stuff now and again for us too!

That is some awesome shooting though. WOW!

We were getting live taped footage from an inside source during the 1st Gulf War as we were all stationed at the same location near Kuwait Border ! Not sure when this footage was taken but same stuff different day and I wish a BIG RIP to the Crew of Spirit 03 lost at Kafji trying to help some Marines pinned down taking some heat! 14 AC 130U Crew lost !

Undoubtedly a welcome sight to those engaged with the enemy. I'm glad "spooky" works for us.
