Sunday night I was watching bids on some 1X Winchester WW Super 375 H&H brass when I came across a fresh listing. The seller had 3 sets of 20pcs for $14/set buy it now. I don’t think they knew what the value was or they would have never did a buy it now. $42 plus shipping I’m set for a long time for the 375Wby. They showed up yesterday and last night I did my full prep on them. At least this brass was from an era when Winchester cared.

If one looks hard enough a deal can be found.

I paid $930 for my left hand Ruger Guide Gun, .375 Ruger, and $800 for my Ruger FTW in 6.5 Creedmoor. I don’t think I did too bad.

You done good and should be proud. The saying, “Buyer beware;” also applies to the sellers. With the plethora of information available today nobody should be underselling or overbuying barring some unique circumstance.

The best deal I ever got was the donor for my 280 AI.... which happened to be an early Jarrett Beanfield rifle. The pawn shop had now idea and neither did I; just thought it was a custom 270. $900 bucks later and it was in my hands.

I will admit that I’ve gotten some real good deals on rifles off of GB. The Vanguard that I built into a 375 Wby had a winning bid if $340. It’s a Sheridan WY stamped and it came with a scope mounted.
