Uhhhh...........why aren't they getting a bailout? :x

No bail outs for fire arms and churches, the "clinging to their guns and religion" mentality.......

I'll keep my God, guns and money.............they can shove the change!

I checked tonight.
Guns and scopes are now 5% off
Optics are now 15% off, but they shipped out all the Steiner stuff  (I like Steiner binoculars)

They also shipped out all the dog training stuff last night.
The inventory of nosler bullets Doubled!! Now they have 2 boxes. :p

The best deal right now is the Tikka t3's.
They are going for $475.00
If you are in the area, and want me to check on something in the gun inventory for you just let me know. It's on my way home for work.

Antelope,

I appreaciate that !

I'd love a new gun, but think I had better hold off for a few days.... I'm having ideas / making plans for a new 6.5 of some sort....

I did look @ Thornton last-night and things are on sale.. the kinds of things they put on the shelf when they opened the store and haven't sold yet. I did see a few bags of Remington .300RUM brass for sale... $49. and some change for a bag of 50.....

All the Camo and blaze orange gear is now 50% if you buy 3 or more pieces.

Personally, I think it's the clothing that got these guys in trouble. Even at 30% -50% off it's not moving. On the other side of the store, they are about out of all the reloading stuff, and ammo. Didn't need any 50% off discount there!

got this from NSSF bullet points news letter

SPORTSMAN'S WAREHOUSE FILES FOR BANKRUPTCY . . . Sporting goods retail chain Sportsman's Warehouse on Saturday filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. "Sportsman's Warehouse is another retailer victim of the worldwide global recession," CEO Rourk Kemp said in court papers. The company said it will continue to operate 29 stores, having already closed 23 stores and sold 15 others.
