going to the farm, for a little c'yote bashing   . Really need some snow but callin' usually does pretty good. I got the 22-250 stainless Savage HB varminter ready with a new 6-24x50 on it all sighted-in at 300 yds. Them 'yotes are in for a very unpleasant morning, I can say for sure as that rifle can do 0.50"s @ 200.

Good luck Kodiak,

We are going out back in the morning to fill doe tags.
Coyote hunting start for me Jan 2,
Man, I can't wait!

Good luck to each of you. A few less coyotes should mean a few more deer next year.

I shot a coyote back in early Nov at Vahala with the 6.5mm Rem Mag. I hope to get a picture of it sent to me so I can post it.
I used a 130 gr AB and it flattened the 25 lb female on the spot.
Looking forward to getting a few more this winter. I can't believe we still don't have any snow!

Kodiak zero, dogs zero.

None, nada, zilch coyotes this morning. We got a litle fresh air though  . Sure need that snow-cover, temps around 40, too warm.

Hope you get the snow cover and a coyote or two

Kodiak,

Keep after them, they still get hungry and can't resist an easy meal.

I will be out after the new year when deer season is over. It looks like we will get our first big snow the second week of Jan.
