I'm new to this forum, so forgive me if this is an old topic. Tell me about the accubonds. How much expansion can you expect from them? What is the minimum velocity they'll open? And finally, other than shooting what is the most accurate in your gun, why choose an AccuBond over a Partition or a ballistic tip? Thanks

There's a great long story on these bullets on www.24hourcampfire.com called Accubonds in Africa. I think they used all available sizes on a variety of affrcan game. The writeup is quite good, the general conclusion was they held together and penetrated better than a ballistic tip, but not quite as well as a Partition.

Well said.

The AccuBond is a great alternative for people wanting to shoot a tipped bullet and not worry about penetration problems.
