The 41 mag is ready

Well Alternative Season here in Missouri opens on the 15th. We are allowed to use muzzleloaders, handguns, bows, crossbows, and Atlatls. I am going to use the 41 mag for the first time ever. I am going to hold myself to 40 yard supported/rested shots. And since I already have two deer in the freezer I am going to be very selective on shots.

I am running the Nosler 210gr JHP over 19 gr of W296 for a muzzle velocity of around 1500fps. Smith and Wesson 657 with a 7.5 inch barrel is the weapon of choice. Now to just hit the range every other day for two weeks.

I have a 657 also....... 2 inch barrel.... snubbie.... certainly fun to shoot..
